Guest guest
We have to wait till this era to be proud of ourselves. How we felt proud? Because someone else praised us. Who is this "someone"? This "someone" is western civilisation. When Dalai Lama or a Vietanamese says a few good things about us do we feel equally proud ? Indians performing abroad are citizens of that country. Those countries gave them everything what they aspired for. They are recognised because they are in that particular country. They should learn to be equally proud of being citizens of that country whose food and water suatins life in thier body. They were born in India that was accident, an event beyond their control. Anyway Indian soil does not require recognition because of some achievers whether in India or abroad. Gods aspire to incarnate on this soil. Air of this country has something which intoxicates the great yogis with maya and on the other hand it gifts enlightenment to ignorant without any sadhana. We dont know what makes this country unique. Great blessing of Gurudev, His benevolent glance on us, His grace on us willmake us realise why we were born in this country and what is aim of our life. His divine knowledge will pierce the cover of ignorance and make us see ourselves from perspective which will be beyond any comparasion....................... and much more which we can not even imagine as of now............ Guest guest
Jai Gurudev... Even my question is the same... Why do all the doctor, engineer, scientist leave this great country and go to USA. And why are we proud that there are so many Indian engineers, doctors in USA. Every sixth person in this world is an Indian, if we go as per the ratio.... every sixth noble prize won should go to an Indian, every sixth olympic medal should go to India.. instead of this we have in every 80 minutes there is a dowry related death. Nay brother the list of achievemnt is too low... I cannot be proud of India... We have a long way to go... Do not take me wrong... There are countries who are far ahead than us. More disciplined than us... The only straw which we cling is "WE HAVE A VERY GOOD CULTURE". How come a country with such a good culture rate so high in the number of corrupt countries.. I am not proud to be an Indian.. I am just grateful to God that he bestowed us with gems like Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Shrimaliji and the list can go on on ... Lets work together to make things right. JAi Gurudev --- np <nazir1 wrote: > They were born in India that was accident, an > You call it an accident ??? Coz you got to know thses people, regds, Prakash - Dinesh Sharma Tuesday, June 17, 2003 9:51 AM Re: FACTS TO MAKE EVERY INDIAN PROUD Jai Gurudev...Even my question is the same... Why do all thedoctor, engineer, scientist leave this great country andgo to USA. And why are we proud that there are so manyIndian engineers, doctors in USA.Every sixth person in this world is an Indian, if wego as per the ratio.... every sixth noble prize wonshould go to an Indian, every sixth olympic medalshould go to India.. instead of this we have in every80 minutes there is a dowry related death.Nay brother the list of achievemnt is too low... Icannot be proud of India... We have a long way togo... Do not take me wrong... There are countries whoare far ahead than us. More disciplined than us... Theonly straw which we cling is "WE HAVE A VERY GOODCULTURE". How come a country with such a good culturerate so high in the number of corrupt countries.. I am not proud to be an Indian.. I am just grateful toGod that he bestowed us with gems like SwamiVivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Shrimaliji and the listcan go on on ...Lets work together to make things right.JAi Gurudev--- np <nazir1 (AT) rogers (DOT) com> wrote:> They were born in India that was accident, an> You call it an accident ???
