Guest guest
Shree vidya is no ordinary vidya that can be "taught". It is the highest of the 64 tantras; hence called as "mahaa tantra". Only an eligible person gets initiation from an able Guru through divine arrangement, without any human effort. I have seen some people becoming lunatic and spoiling their precious human life in a deliberate effort to get initiated and practice the shree mantra. The shastras proclaim with one voice: "raajaym dehi shiro dehi na dEyam shOdashaakshari" ----- give away your kingdom in charity, even cut off your head and give it to the needy. But never give Shree vidya diksha. The above only means that, a Guru initiates someone only when he is ordered to do so by the Divine Mother Shree Lalithaa Mahaa Thripurasundari. In the poorva peetika of Shree Lalithaa sahasranaamam, Lord Hayagreeva warns sage agasthya not to teach the sahasranaamam to a person who is not eligible: " na shaTaaya na dushtaaya na vishwaasaaya karhichith" The first and foremost prerequisite to Shree Vidya is to view all women, young and old, as one's own mother. Such an attitude has to come by birth. Moreover, as I have mentioned earlier, only those who are eligible due to the sanskars of their previous births get Shree Vidyaa initiation. It will be their last birth [freedom fromt the cycle of births and deaths]: " charamE janmani yathaa shree vidyaa upaasakO bhavEth" The energy associated with Shree vidya mantras are very high and an non-eligible person's body cannot simply withstand it. Deaths due to bleeding through the ears and nose or paralyses are frequently heard. The above info is not to scare away or discourage anyone but to educate. Those who cannot practice Shree Vidya can resort to "Manasa puja" [mental worship]. The Gaayathri mahaa mantra itself is the origin of all vidyas, mantras and tantras. It is the gross form of Shree Vidya. All human beings can practice it. "na gaayathryaa param mantram, na maathuh para devathaa" ---- there is no mantra greater than the Gaayathri, no god is above the Divine Mother. Please be aware of false gurus. || namasthE jagadEka maathah || , "jubish roy" <jbryo@r...> wrote: > are there any teachers of sri vidya if so please let me know who gives sri vidya diksha
