Hanumath Jayanthi/Pepper Vada

Tommorrow is Hanumath Jayanthi and Pepper (Milagu in Tamil) Vada is

an auspicious preparation for Shri Hanuman. Any astrological

reasonings behind this - such as milagu being representative spice

for any specific planet, Hanuman ji being representative for any

specific planet, so pepper vada is auspicious for him? Also this

could be looked up in rajasic/tamasic/sattwic ways, any interesting

thoughts this way? Also what according to mythology makes pepper vada

and butter special for Shri Hanuman, akin to Modakam for Shri Ganesh?
