There are three types of Siddhis.

Mukhya: These eight siddhis are considered very important. Every

sadhak should strive to attain these siddhis. These are:

[1] Anima: To make sadhak's body very small. Hanuman used this

siddhi to search Sita in Lanka.

[2] Mahima: To make sadhak's body as big as a mountain. Hanuman used

this siddhi to cross the ocean to reach Lanka.

[3] Laghima: To make sadhak's body very light.

[4] Prapti: To control sadhak's senses.

[5] Prakamya: To gain complete knowledge of all spiritual subjects.

[6] Ishita: To control Maya.

[7] Vashita:

[8] Khyati: To gain everything material.

Gaun: These ten siddhis are:

[1] Anoormi: To get freedom from hunger, thirst, sorrow, attachment,

disease and death.

[2] Door Shravan Siddhi: To hear anything, near or far off; present

or past.

[3] Door Darshan Siddhi: To see anything, near or far off; present

or past.

[4] Mano Jav Siddhi: To reach anywhere at the speed of thoughts.

[5] Kaamroop Siddhi: To make sadhak's body young or old, beautyful

or ugly.

[6] Parkaya Pravesh: To enter any dead body and return.

[7] Swachchhand Maran: To die at will.

[8] Dev Kreeda Anudarshan: To see gods.

[9] Yathasankalp Sansiddhi: To get whatever is desired and to

materialize whatever is said by the sadhak.

[10] Apratihatagati: To make everything possible.

Kshudra: These five siddhis are:

[1] Trikaalagyata: To know anyone's past, present and future.

[2] Adwandwata: To sadhak's body suitable for all seasons or to

maintain weather of any place all through the year.

[3] Parchittagyabhigyata: To know what's going on in others' mind.

[4] Pratishtambha: To make sadhak's body immune to poison, fire,

storm, sun and heat.

[5] Aparajaya: To become invincible.

I don't think that 'striving' for these siddhis either major or minor

is worth while. These should be only by-products in the process of

saadhana, whose main aim is to reach the ishta devta.

Correct me, if I am wrong :)-
