Guest guest
i do not know if i am qualified to advise you, but my conclusion has been that the first mantra anyone chants should be gayatri.once ashish also suggested this. please make a regime of say 5 mala daily for 40 days or so. if you can perform more, even better. my expereince has been that the time taken to chant 1 mala of a mantra decreases over time. when i started it took me 20 minutes for gayatri. so if time is a constraint you can do only 3 or 1. same time daily, same place. also once your conclusions have been drawn on what you want to do, please keep all books away, do not think of them and do not even open them. just perform one sadhana for a while. i wasted a lot of time in doing silly research and being confused so i am saying this. jai gurudev , "krc_uk" <krc_uk> wrote: > Jai gurudev. > > I have recently in the last 6-7 months began finding out about > spiritualism and the journey to self-realization. Yes, along with Chetana and Guru mantra. The combination of these three effectively purifies our mind, soul and body; rids us of our bad karmas; energises us and destroys our laziness; and creates an active link between us and Gurudev which we can easily use to talk to Gurudev. This process also create a very powerful base to begin any sadhana and succeed. These three mantras should be a permanent part of your daily routine. Ashish... Guest guest
Dear Friend, I agree with Anu. One should supplement practical knowledge with the one obtained from books. Practical knowledge will lead you to right literature. Above all find a Guru. Guest guest
jai gurudev, well, let me tell u that ur first step to begin the journey into the beautiful world of sadhanas or say into the spiritual world is to STOP THINKING TOO MUCH.before that let me tell u that im not a great saint or anything of such kind.i too m a being like u very much interested in this spiritual world.im lucky that i have recognised my Guru Shri Narayan Dutt Shrimali(Paramahans Swami Nikhileshwaranand Maharaj). And im very well satisfied with Him.Spirituality begins when science comes to a standstill.or in other words when one stops thinking then that is the right time to jump into the vast ocean of spiritual world.RECOGNISE UR GURU.there is no doubt that UR GURU HAS FOUND U OUT IN THIS LIFE.its now ur turn to recognise Him.Do not delay lest u loose the golden opportuinity of excelling in every feild of life (Materialistic as well as spiritual life). now its u who has to decide which way is to b chosen.ONLY BLESSED SOULS BEGIN THE JOURNEY OF SELF-REALISATION.and only a SADGURU CAN LEAD U TO THE ULTMATE AIM OF HUMAN LIFE.because a "SADGURU" has achieved the ultimate goal following a differetnt way or say the apt n just way n only HE knows how to guide the being through that way.so the basic necessity is to recognise "SADGURU" first.once u recognise HIM n surrender urself completely to HIM, left is taken care by HIM.wishing u all the best. Guest guest
Jai Gurudev!! Can someone please enlighten me on the Chetana mantra. I have been doing the Guru Mantra and in one of the old posts I see that Gayatri mantra should be done along with the Chetana Mantra. I am going to start that so if anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. How many malas of Guru Mantra/Gayatri Mantra/Chetana Mantra? And, what kind of mala do you use - I only have rudraksh and sphatik Also - (wow - asking too many questions). I have been involved in a court case for a while and have been doing Maa Baglamukhi Mala Mantra. It fixes things but the court case is still lingering. Can someone please tell me about a QUICK (sorry looking for quick because its been dragging already for over two years). Thanks in advance for all the help Jai Gurudev!! , "Ashish Marathe" <nikhilashish> wrote: > > > my conclusion has been that the first mantra > > anyone chants should be gayatri.once ashish > > also suggested this. > > Yes, along with Chetana and Guru mantra.
