Guest guest Posted January 1, 2004 Report Share Posted January 1, 2004 Jai gurudev. I have recently in the last 6-7 months began finding out about spiritualism and the journey to self-realization. I am currntly a student at University. When I first read about Siddhis and Gyangunj, my mind was captivated by the grandure, and I could not believe that no one in my family had never spoke of this before. I mean how can they never have heard of anything like this?? Of course growing up, we were told stories by grandparents and parents about how spiritually advanced gurudev was and how we shopuld follow his example. When I ask my grand parents about it now they say we should not involve ourselves with that kind of thing. I do not think they are completely wrong in their rite, as nowadays there are many cults and sects that pull you in for your money, and i guess that they dont want us to get hurt. But I still have that question in my mind, I am still intrigued in wonder and excitement every time i think of the possibilities. I have researched all I can. I wish to start my sadhana. However I do not know how to. I have all this information bt no directin in which to follow it. I do not know where to start. There are so many books and articles, I do not know which ones to believe and which ones not too (in terms of beginning sadhana). Is there anyone who can help me?
