Guest guest
Dear brothers, A thought crossed my mind yesterday. There are several people here who are interested in sadhanas, and have performed some as well. Some are disciples of Dr. Shrimali, some not. Why do we not try to catalogue sadhanas, as well as the results we got from them. Nobody is forced to talk about anything of course. This may prove to be very useful for new sadhaks, as well as all of us who seek inspiration. Sadhana: Atma Chetana Procedure : ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OR depending on the sadhana can be found at http://www.siddhashram.org/s19980155.shtml performed by sadhaks 1) devi_bhagat Guru dikshit? yes Name of Guru: Dr. Shrimali Experiences: Heightened intuition and telepathy. If I found myself thinking of a friend I inevitably got a call or a mail. Also, it has been very useful in re-examining my own behavioral patterns and the motivating fears, and i have been able to set my priorities better. It really is a wonderful sadhana. 2) .............. 3) ................ 4) ......... then, probably make a file for each sadhana and save it, to start in the files section of this or another group/web page specially created for this purpose. Anyway, some serious problems have cropped up in my life suddenly and I had better concentrate on them. So for now, I myself may not be able to contribute in this direction. It was just a passing thought so I wanted to share it. Please write to me personally if there is a mail specifically for me. good wishes, jaigurudev anu Hotjobs: Enter the "Signing Bonus" Sweepstakes
Guest guest
Oh Devi, Very nice thought!!! Jay Gurudev Hi, I did only one sadhana in my life, it was in October2002, the Panchungali Sadhana which was in mtyv magazine December2000. At that time I was reading books and magazines of Dr Shrimali but no yet his disciple, so I perform the Sadhana without Guru Diksha and Panchanguli Diksha. I did not succeed in the Sadhana itself but on the other hand it was a success cause for the first time in my life for seven days I was cut off from this world i.e no phonecalls, no work, no contact with anybody, just reading mtyv magazines the whole day and i have only 10 English copies (i read the same page everyday and I am still reading them since 2 years). Then came 2003, the year I obtain Guru Diksha and so many, many dikshas. Since Guru diksha, I have been hearing and still hearing the murmuring of bees in my ears. That's enough to make you believe that the Guru is not fake, that he is really the Ocean. But still, I must admit that I am a bit lazy and sometimes very lazy, so ..... So my resolution for this year is to perform Sadhanas and to succeed in them. I will start by the easiest one first. Opps, I have written my whole spiritual life. Sorry!!!! In fact I just wanted to thank Anuji for launching this suggestion, but maybe Gurudev wanted me to ....... - devi bhagat Saturday, January 10, 2004 4:33 PM a suggestion Dear brothers, A thought crossed my mind yesterday. Guest guest
Respected learned members of the group, I agree with anuji that a dossier of interested members of the group would indeed help all the members. my best wishes for the group. I am 26 yrs ols and am a practising architect in delhi. I am a Shrividya upasaka myself.I have done purascharana for some mantras and still am in the process. Each mantra has had diverse divine effets on me. The learned members may please ignore my arrogance generated by my novice achievements and include me into their valuable discussions. Jai jagadambe. This is also one of the ideas, not to create a lovey dovey happy endings picture. what were the frustartions and failures as well. No, no i am not calling your sadhana a failure. Also, when people say they succeeded what is it that they mean by success? that is why in the example, i clearly mentioned what i called success. And we do not wish to loose out on experiences of sadhaks who are not disciples of Dr. Shrimali just because we are closed headed. To be not lost in the maze of sadhanas and take one thing and see to its end. Talking about experiences to anyone except one's Guru is prohibited. Still, how many of the members would want to share them and how would you know that the experiences are true, not an act for commercial gain? > This may prove to be very useful for new sadhaks, > as well as all of us who seek inspiration.
