guru pushya is a very auspicious occasion to start any sadhana

in such a case the required day, time to start the sadhana can be

overruled i.e. you can start a sadhana which is required to be

started on a monday / saturday etc on this occasion. the result of

chanting is said to be 1000 times more.

starts at sunrise (local time) everywhere in the world. ends in

india a little over 2 a.m. (next date friday)

please do a local time conversion, for ending time. i.e. if you are

in US west coast it will ending roughly by 2 p.m.

any worship done to lord shiva by any mantra vrat homa daan etc

during this period gives faster results.

which continues on till end of feburary. let the lord of all lords

guide us.
