Guest guest
hello brothers & sisters, I'm new to this awesome and much informative group. I've some questions in my mind from long time regarding one of the shat kriya yogas, The "Tratak" technique. I'm a myopic, that is i have short sight and wear glasses. Can i still practise tratak ( i had never done before) ? Do i need to wear my glasses while doing tratak (candle light tratak) or remove them till i complete this yoga for that day. thanks. Regards, Dheenu
Guest guest
Jai Gurudev! Dear Friend, Pujya Gurudev has written a book related to the subject matter- `Hypnotism Ke Rahasya'. It is available in both Hindi as well as English. It's publishers are Pustak Mahal, Delhi. It's a very popular book and can be purchased even from Railway Station Book Stalls. The book discusses the subject matter of Tratak, which is the basic training for hypnotism also. Of course people with spectacles are advised to do tratak without wearing their glasses. I have read the book and know that tratak with candle-stick light is to be done at a later stage as it may harm your eye sight without the proper basic training/sadhna using the proper method. Please do refer to the above mentioned book to attain your desired result and also to avoid any injury or fatigue to the eyes. Tratak is a very useful sadhna and it is very desirable to be able to focus our mind! However, it should be done with proper knowledge. Also, I will suggest that you send your photograph to the addresses given below to receive guru diksha. But it will be advisable to personally receive gurudiksha from Gurudev! His schedule of various sadhana camps is available on the website mentioned. You may also contact Gurudev's Disciples for his schedule for diksha/meeting him at the following addresses, phones, email: - Jodhpur Gurudham at Jodhpur, India:Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan,Dr. Shrimali Marg,High Court Colony,Jodhpur 342001, Rajasthan, India Telephone: If dialling from International: 91-291-2432209/2433623 (Please prefix with your International Access code eg. 011 from USA) Within India : (0291)-2432209/2433623 (0291 is STD code for Jodhpur) Delhi Gurudham at New Delhi, India : Mantra Tantra Yantra Vigyan,306, Kohat Enclave, Pitampura, New Delhi 110034, India Telephone: If dialling from International: 91-11-27182248 (Please prefix with your International Access code eg. 011 from USA) Within India : (011)-27182248 (011 is STD code for New Delhi) You may also contact on email at mtyv By meeting/contacting him you can avail of Gurudev's divine blessings and guidance regarding the appropriate sadhana or any other aspect of your life! oadidao
hello, am practicing trataka for past few days. as i gaze and let object (lamp) go out of focus i percieve two images of the same object. thereon am unable (difficult) to focus both the images at the same time but instead am able to concentrate and focus either one of the two images at a time and let other one out of focus. i want to know whether this normal in the sadhana and how should i progress from there. thank you
