seeing gods on an animal skin!

dear gurubhais and behens,

Hi! this is Dattu again!I dont fully

ascribe to the view that one sees Gods and saints when one sits on deer ,tiger

or a lion skin.This is a false view.One's seeing of different visions depends

on ones heart and how much one aspires.

I for one possess a deer skin (spotted

deer).I have seen a number of visions.But I donot correlate between the two.The

intensity of desire determines the capacity to see gods and saints.

However I would like to tell about the

usefulness of sitting on various skins.....1. deer skin- gives peace

2.tiger skin- aids in asceticness

3.lion skins-aids in liberation

All animal skins provide what I term a mayvic insulation.This insulation

protects you from negative forces and aids concentration.However I proscribe

getting animal skins by killing them and doing sadhana.It is inhuman.I got the

skin of a dead Deer(natural death).Killing animals for doing sadhana on their

skins is very mean.Also when the animals die they die cursing humanity. This

karma comes on the head of one who does sadhana on them.This will hamper

spiritual progress.Moreover these skins are mere aids to acheiving the

purpose.They are not the be all and end all of spirituality.One should not

dream pf getting paranormal powers merely by sitting on the skins.(Then just

imagine what powers the deer or lion or tiger which possesses the skin earlier

would be having!!).

One should supplement it with sadhana.Sadhana and a true heart brings

success not a mere sitting on a deer skin.This is my opinion.I might be

wrong.Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong
