Question About Mahashivratri (new member)

Hello Guru bhai,

 

I am a new member of this group and also new member of Mantra Tantra

Yantra Vigyan Masik Patrika.

 

My question is:

In July 2004 issue of MTYV, there is one prayoga , prayog-21 about

Maha Vidhya Sadhana Siddhi Hetu Prayog, page no. 76.

 

The issue says that i have to complete this sadhana in this July.

 

I want to know that when Maha Siv Ratri is coming in this month? As

there is no detail about when it is coming this month in the patrika.

Dear Guru Bhai

Maha Shiva Ratri is almost always in the month of February.

July is Shrawan Mongth which is called Shiva Kalpa. bets time for

worshipping Shiva. We ahve special double Sharwan Maonths (in Lunar

Calendar)

 

Adhik Shrawan Shukla 18th of July to Full Moon on the 31st of July

Adhik Shrawan Krishna 1st August to 16th August (Moonless Night)

Shravan17th August to 14th of September

Adhik Shravan is regarded very auspicious for Sadhanas especially for Shiva

and Narayana.
