Guest guest Posted July 28, 2004 Report Share Posted July 28, 2004 Slight correction here, for a jaap of 1.25 lac mantras, one has to do 1250 malas of mantra and then dashanash (1/10) havan which is 125 malas. This havan will take about 7 hours if performed alone and about 12-15 kgs of havan samagree .. Further, it has to be performed immediately after completion of sadhana. Shastriji has suggested that in very rare circumstances if one is hard pressed with time one could do 1/10 jaap more than the required number and by pass the procedure of havan.
