Guest guest Posted August 1, 2004 Report Share Posted August 1, 2004 august 11 kamala ekadashi -the wealth and auspiciousness giving ekadashi which comes once in three years we should fast if we can to the best of our ability. ideally without even water, and do way with sleep. but doing whatever is our maximum capacity is good enough ... speaking as less as possible, no criticism, no lies. And, as with all lakshmi sadhanas -remaining positive, cheerful, no criticism for the day and 5 after that. combining it with performing charities to the best of our ability. eg chanting vishnu sahsranaam (can be found on musicindiaonline.com ) sri sukta, and kanakdhara are already uploaded in the files section. even auspicious for worshippinng kuber. http://www.acbspn.com/ekadashis/parama.htm the next one is somvati amavasya on 16 august being the amavasya of savan adhik maas, the auspiciousness is manifold. great day to begin new sadhanas also a good day for pitra dosh nivaran _ I read this in an astrology group. jaigurudev anu Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
