Dear Brothers & Sisters,

 

Recently there were a few comments on sadhnas in mails from fellow sadhaks.

Gurudev has said that as an shishya it is our duty that we move close to Guru

and Gurubhais. In the process ;I would say that everyone will agree that if

someone makes a fewcasual remarks about Gurudev or his knowledge i.e sadhans,

then that has to be countered clearly and effectively whithout any ifs and

buts. Even if the person making such comments is a Gurubhai.

Shastras ask to act against criticer of Guru or/and his knowledge. Thereson is

vey simple.No act as a shishya has been asked by gurudev or our old texts with

respect to Guru, which will benifit only Guru or Glorify him only. He

encompasses all these and much more. His glory is not dependent on us. His

knowledge and love has already made him the

param tatva of universe. The raeson why a shishya should react when someone says

something agaisnt Guru or his knowledge is that if the shishya does not react it

accounts to accepting that crticismat subconscious level. On conscius plane

shishya will think that he does share the views of crticism,buts the things are

not that simple. During sadhanas those thoughts come to surfacegain andget

etched into the mind and slowly start reducing the divine image of guru in your

mind to an ordinary mortal with no special knowledge.

This is a fact and all those who have felt some attachment at heart with gurudev

SURELY have experienced this. It includes all members of this who have taken

Gurudiksha.

This is no joke.It is very serious matter and its effects are so damaging that

sadhaks are filled with deep remorse when they come to know about these at

laters stage.

My request is to all Gurubhais is that any such comments if you read, please

counter those clearly without any ifs or buts.

 

We are not here to judge the state of mind of the person writing those mails. If

we say Guru is my mother and Guru is my father then why dont you react asif

someone hascrtised your father and mother. Will you symathise with the misery

or difficulty of a person criticing your mother or what she stands for?

Then why double standrads here?

Or just accept that you mechanically say those lines of Guru Stuti- Guru is my

Mother , Father, Friend, Brother, Knowledge, Money and everything in universe

desired or loved by us.

 

 

Whatever is written in MTYV is word of Gurudev. They are not fairy tales for

children. Dismissive comments about the effects of sadhanas, which is given to

us by gurudev with deep love and trust. These are gems of Gurudev's tapas.

Gurudev bore pain worse than thousand deaths to collect these gems and

distribute these among his shishyas.

And look what kind of remarks are being made about these sadhans.

It hurts, to say the least.

 

Can anyone imagine how much effort of Gurudev has gone into bringing out this magazine?

 

 

There are only two ways to avoid the sin of being party to Gurudev's criticism -

leave the place where it is happening or counter every comment that we come

across. There is no third way.
