Jaya gurudev,

Yes you can do a sadhana without diksha. I think Vatssalya ji was

also stating the same statement. There are many instances in Hindu

purans where someone did a tapasya and god came without any guru or

diksha.

Any sadhana or meditation or prayer etc... gives energy that helps to

lift you in a higher energy level.

Suppose my energy level is 3 and to get full success in Tara Sadhana,

one needs to be in 1000. One sadhna may increse my level to 5 or 10

or ... So in this way I need to do the same sadhana 100's of times to

get success. It is diff in diff individual.

Instead if I get a Tara Diksha, my energy level may go way up to

900ish (or more or less depending on my sanskars) and then i will get

success real soon without frustration.

That being said, diksha opens locked doors as you go in the sadhana.

Otherwise, you have to find your way around them that takes forever.

But, something is better than nothing. If one is not in a position or

place to take diksha, doing sadhana always helps as it helps to

develop concentration as well as a habit of doing mantra japa.

Another advice from books is not to do Ugra Sadhana without guidance

as any wrong move (breaking discipline or wrong procedure) may bring

harm mentally as well as physically.

Hi,

Actually, in this forum or somewhere else i read that Gurudev himself said that

we can still do some sadhna without Diksha but we will have to do it 1.25 lakh.

Please correct me if i am wrong as i only read it in forum. Of course with

Diksha success is more certain.
