Guest guest
Correct way is to look upwards , and then inwards. The other way is ..do Nasikaagra drishti mudra and close ur eyes gently after sometime. You'll automatically be at ajna chakra kshetram. Guest guest
dear sri, firstly, when u use term "focus" , it means no meditation can be done....mind should not be stressed by focussing or in remembering any mantra , contemplation etc.... let there be a faint idea (belief) in ur mind, it will be enabled automatically, when u sit in meditation posture after a time-interval.....if you want it soon, before starting meditation, just listen quitely some vedic mantra chanting...any CD or cassette....try to get "Soma Mantra",,,,,,sam veda chanting etc. once the belief (dharna), travels in ur mind as a faint idea and continues for few minutes,,,,you actually go deep in meditation (Dhyan) and a perticular time,,,,automatically you will be (ur mind actually) at the complete rest (stability) position (samadhi), which is what everyone is trying to find through different ways....... so i suggest not to think right now about third eye (Sookshma Sareer) and just try it to find with belief... regards satyendra --- Sri <shreedhar12 wrote: > Hello, > During meditation, can anyone let me know how do i > focus attention on the third eye? Guest guest
jaya gurudev i don't know the correct way but a very good advice Please never SQUEEZE your eyes and never try too hard trying to visualize things. if your eyes start to hurt, just relax otherwise your eyesight will become weak, i have done that and wearing glasses now just let the eyes be closed normally and just gazing upwards. when meditation goes deeper, eyes will automatically focus on third eye. best of luck , Sri <shreedhar12> wrote: > Hello, > During meditation, can anyone let me know how do i focus attention on the third eye? At some websites it is said to look upwards to the maximum extent at the third eye and at some other websites it is said to look straight. Which is the correct way such that the eyes remain fixed at a point? > > Shreedhar > > > > ALL-NEW Messenger - all new features - even more fun!
