Guest guest
Hi All, I was going through the recent postings and saw a pattern emerge in them. Most of the doubts amongst the seekers here are about the importance of sadhana, left/right hand, about peace, time management, encouragement by photos, soulmate of opposite sex etc. What each seeker should ask themself is this: Who are you when you are asleep? Are you aware of what/who you are in your sleep? Are you a male or a female? ----------------------- Who thought you the difference between the left hand and right hand? If you were given a choice to loose one hand which one would you loose, left or right? ----------------------- How many times in a day to you think of actually performing the sadhana? How may times in a day to you think of your innser self? Do you sit and account the time that you take in thinking these? Is timing the hours that you meditate/perform sadhana a criteria to measure the effectiveness of your meditation/sadhana? Why do you count the number of times you have chanted the mantra? Is that a measure of success or a yard stick to your goal? Do you count how many times you breathe in a day? -------------------------- Who is a soulmate? Who are the rest then? --------------------------- What to you see in a mirror? Do you give importance to your reflection or do you pause and thank the mirror for showing you what you are? Is a picture of your god important or is the thought of your godly figure important? Do the pictures actually justify the thought that you have of the godly figure? ----------------------------- "Soundriya Lahari" as shankracharya told, is the presence of god everywhere. So you are always in him and he is you. Sadhana is to prove to yourself that you are close to the god/guru in your mind. If the sadhana is done to change your fate etc, then its done to prove to others, not to yourself. Ultimately, who will judge the success of your sadhana? Do you showcase the success or do you dip in the divine bliss of the sadhana? All of are blind to the fact that we are swiming in a pool of divine bliss, where all of us are connected to the same god irecpective of caste, religion, race, sex etc. Once we are open to this fact, there is no need to do any sadhana, look for pictures, left hands, soulmates etc. Just like you consider a medium like a mirror to see your reflection, you are already in the medium of bliss for your soul. Just have to realize it. Regards, VB
