Eclipse Sadhana

Following is an extract (translated from Hindi) of Eclipse Sadhana

published in January 1997 issue of MTYV. We have had similar

instance of Lunar & Solar eclipse occuring within few days of each

other at that time.

You may perform this Sadhana without Sadhana articles also.

 

On the day of eclipse,rise early in the morning before sunrise. Take

bath and wear pure clothes. Sit on yellow mat facing South

direction. Cover a wooden seat with yellow cloth. Place a fully

consecrated and energised Puranmadah Yantra on it. Make seven mounds

of rice in front of yantra. You should have received seven Sadhana

materials with Yantra. Place each of them on these mounds. Light a

ghee lamp and a oil lamp. The ghee lamp should be placed on your

right hand side and oil lamp should be on your left hand side. Chant

eleven rosary rounds of the following mantra with Sfatik rosary or

Vidyut rosary or Hakeek rosary.

 

||OM HREEM KLEEM AIM HLEEM BREEM SHREEM BLEEM BLAUM HUM PHAT||

 

This is a highly effective Mantra containing many Beej Mantras. It

is a very powerful mantra to achieve complete success in both

material and spiritual fields. The ghee lamp and oil lamp should

stay light during the entire duration of mantra chanting. You can

use any type of oil in the oil lamp. You should not wear any

stitched cloth. You should wear only dhoti and Guru Shawl.

After completion of eleven rosary rounds place the rosary

near the yantra. Cover everything with a second cloth so that the

yantra and rice mounds stay in the same position.

Repeat the same Sadhana using the same Sadhana materials on

the day of second eclipse. After that store the yantra and the other

Sadhana materials safely.

It is preferable to perform this Sadhana also on each day

between the eclipses.
