Hello Everyone,

I am new to this group... Although I have read a lot of hindu

philosophy (esp. the Yogas) by Swami Vivekanand, I have just learnt

about Siddhashram (through the net/website). I haven't taken diksha

yet...

To be very frank I am a little skeptical about all this. Especially

because there are so many people around who cheat you in such

activities.

I do not mean to hurt any sentiments, but if i have or do then I

humbly ask forgiveness.

Of the Yogas I have read, I like Raj(a) Yoga the most. I regularly

practice pranayam and meditation. Has anyone here been able to awaken

his/her kundalini?

I presume a lot of people here must have taken diksha already. Do the

Trimurti Gurudev give the diksha directly or only through photo? Do

you actually get to meet them? Are there any specific conditions to

receive diksha?

Actually I am on the lookout for a Guru. But before accepting anyone

as your guru I feel that it is very important to make at least some

enquiry. I thought that there is no better way than asking the

disciples themselves. I also wanted to know how your Guru can take

care of all his disciples (Esp when they are just too many of them.).

I would be extremely happy to receive some guidance from you all.

Diksha is transferring of powers from guru to sishya. This process is by the

guru placing his foot on the head of the sishya and transferring his powers

thereof. Even there are other methods of transfer l;ike the guru placing his

thumb on the forehead and passing his powers. hence this requires real contact
