I just took diksha in Pune sadhana camp. during diksha they have given small white rope ("dora" or yagnopavit??) to wear in neck. For how many days one has to wear it or is it ok if we dont wear it. 2. I have sfatik mala using which i chant mantra. Any specific but strict rules that must be followed?. Shall i wear that mala while going to office?. Any effects if i wear mala and if i dont wear.. 3. Generally after how many months result can be seen once we start chanting guru mantra. The Dora or Jeneyu has certain rules to be followed by the Sadhak which you will have to learn and decide to practice.Only then you will be able to wear it all the time. Meanwhile. it would be most appropriate if you take a coconut and tie this thread around that coconut and keep in your Puja Room or place. Regarding wearing the sfatik rosary, it may not be advisable to wear it . It should better be kept wrapped in the Gaumukhi ( the cloth which the people use for placing the hand and the Mala in, during chanting. ( It is available at all the places where you may buy pujan Samigri)and used only at the time of chanting. This way it would become more and more powerful . About the third query , no time limit is fixed. The more is your concentration and dedication and the more you chant with correct pronunciation, the faster would be the result. You may also silently -without being laudible- chant gurumantra all the time. For this mental chanting no time or place is fixed ( it could be chanted even while using the toilet) > The more is this silent chanting at all times the more faster is the result. Guest guest Posted December 24, 2004 Report Share Posted December 24, 2004 jai gurudev, congrats for getting guru deeksha! 1) yagnopavit ko gurumantra jaap ke vakt pehen sakte ho...ya roz pehen sakte ho.its ur wish.u can wear it like janevu. 2)u shud not touch the sfatik maala with ur index n little finger while chanting gurumantra.its quite difficult in the beggining but u will get used to it later.tum sfatik maala ko dhaaran kar sakte ho.u can wear it everytime.sote samay nikaal kar rakh sakte ho pillow kw neeche.subah naha pavitrikaran karke pehen sakte ho.while chanting hang the sfatik maala in ring finger n pull the beeds towards u with ur middle finger. when u reach the sumeru (the first beed ) turn the maala n then chant the mantra .u shud not chant mantra at sumeru. 3)when u sow seeds, u cannot expect it to give u fruits immediately... taj mahal ek din mein nahi bana tha....it depends on ur devotion n attachment towards guruji n mantra...ek din mein bhi u can get the results...10 saal ke baad bhi tumhe results mil sakte hai...depends on ur intensity.shraddha ke ateerek mein jaao....buddhi ke nahi... jai gurudev , vikram <vikrampk> wrote: > Jay Gurudev, > > I am new sadhak.
