why is it that once a sadhak progresses in his 1.25 lakh guru mantra

anushthan he faces many problems like:

1. there is no clearity when he chants the gurumantra.

2. sometimes it is impossible to chant the mantra as if there is

temporary loss of speech.

3. if somehow one continues with the chating and courageously moves

forward in completing the anushthan. is this really acceptable?

4. many times one looses his concentration and one's mind wavers in

many other worldly problems.

5. sometimes one's personal problems and circumstances are so huge that

one's mind does not concentrate in one place.

The questions you have raised are very relevant. A little bit of self analysis

will take us to the answers also.

Firstly what basic question is troubling a person and why he is seeking an

opinion of others?

Basic problem in simple words is :- If we deviate from prescribed route, will be

able to get success? Deep inside in our hearts, everybody know - Answer is NO.

Here by success I mean the that point of sadhna where you dont have any doubts

or regrets left about what you wanted to achieve from sadhnas and what you

actually achieved. Untill you not satisfied it means you are have not achieved

success. It is as simple as that.

 

Due to our own shortcomings we try to look around for answers and opinions

which are sympathetic to us. Practically we will gain nothing by seeking

sympathy. Surely people around us will encourage us. They will tell that we

should continue sadhnas. If we have trust and faith in Guru then mistakes do

not matter. These words are encouraging an absolutely true.Gurudev are bound by

procedures of sadhnas, They can give whatever They want to his desciple in Their

own way whenever they feel that their desciple deserves.

 

But nobody can tell you that how much devoted you really are towards Gurudev.

Nobody can tell you that how much trust or faith you have in Gurudev,his

mantra,his sadhnas,his teachings,his path, his vision etc. It is only you and

only you who knows the answers deep inside you heart. I am not saying that you

should or should not reveal this to others. That's your choice.Whatever

qaulities are necessary for proper recitation of mantras, performing sadhnas,

rules to be followed during sadhnas etc. are repeated countlessly in every

issue of MTYV magazine. There is no need to create long winding stories about

how,why,if so , that so, will it work, does any one knows how it works, can

anyone prove it to me, can anyone show it to me, do I need to chew the food to

eat it, do I need to drink water to quench my thirst, is it wastage of time, is

it wastage of money, If it some trick played to mint money, I will start sadhna

only when God himself comes to my feet,

when God proves his existence to me, It is duty of Shiva and Jagdamba to show

themselves up before me so that I am convinced before starting sadhna that they

exist in universe, Shiva will obliged that I am doing his sadhna, Jagdamba

should explain to me about the happenings of this world and then only I will

start Her Sadhna...etc...etc. You can add a few more.. I stop here but I am

stopping you.

 

What certificate you want that 1.25 lacs mantra Japa has been accepted by

Gurudev? If You feel deeply for him you will have answer in your mind even

before this question comes to your mind

 

It hardly needs a little bit of courage to look in our own selves to get answers

to majority of questions. Then only we will be able to move our discussion in

the realm of sadhnas. Then we will not have to think about what we should be

writing into the mails of this . Then there will not be any need to

create artificial quesries to move forward the discussion. If we start feeling

about sadhnas in natural way like we feel for the importance of air and water

for existence, our queries and replies will also become much more natural.

 

Dont worry, the kind of reply you are expecting, will given by other sadhaks.

You can take solace from that and feel comfortable about your current state.
