Guest guest
Dear Brothers & Sisters, Day after tomorrow (17-05-05) is Sri Bagalamukhi Jayanti and also Sri Janaki Jayanti. We would like to narrate an incident related to Devi Bagalamukhi. A group of us sadhaks was visiting Shimla in October last year when a sadhna shivir was organised there. In that shivir we saw a person very loudly speaking about the Bagalamukhi sadhna and how wonderfully it has helped someone known to him and working as soldier in Indian army posted in Kashmir. We would refer to this person as self proclaimed Guru(SPG) for our convenience of writing. This fellow,SPG, just went on bragging and breaking all rules related to certain secret aspects of sadhna. This SPG not only revealed the name of soldier but the details like his seniors has given him permission to perform continuous sadhna as his unit didn’t suffer any casualty due to the grace of Sri Bagalamukhi. It seemed that the soldier had taken sadhna from this SPG. We felt sad for the soldier as this SPG has spoiled everything by giving out details threadbare. Until the task is not finished successfully the sadhna’s type and objective should not be made open. The soldier posted in Kashmir and his whole unit already aware of his sadhna might have already been facing very hard time in doing this powerful sadhna and here this SPG was adding to soldier’s burden foolishly by drumming it publicly. His objective was not to extol the virtue of Devi Bagalamukhi but to seek praise for himself. Many people of his known circle were touching feet of SPG, therefore it was clear that SPG had been advising people regarding issues of Tantra and sadhna. In all probability he may have given the details of sadhna to that soldier. So SPG just wanted to utilize the occasion to the maximum of his own advantage by ignoring all subtle aspects of Tantra Sdahnas. We can only hope that soldier has taken has taken Guru Diksha and he performs Guru Poojan daily. This SPG has taken the diksha from Gurudev, but he was busy praising himself rather than the Gurudev or his grace for giving him Bagalamukhi sadhna. We just wonder how Gurudev handle large variety of sadhaks? What difficulties Gurudev might have faced in repairing the damage done by foolish activities of us sadhaks? We know that anyone who has taken Guru Diksha from Gurudev Nikhil that person must have something special which we are not able to see. Because they are Gurubahis therefore we tolerate them only upto a certain level. After a certain level we don’t’ bother whether he is our Gurubhai or whatever. We just don’t fear from showing that person his real face. Gurudev is there to teach us lesson if we are wrong. We do not lesson from these SPG type braggards. We made our opinion clear to that SPG and shut his mouth; we are sure he will keep in mind the our words for rest of his life. Doing such things has its own price also. One of the sadhaks in our group faced very critical situation for 2-3 months after coming back from the shivir. Of course we knew that SPG is not going to sit down quietly and he will play some dirty mischief, but we are happy that we have put him his proper place for rest of his life. He will think twice before starting on the trip of self-praise while ignoring rules of tantra sadhna. Keen observation always helps us to see the importance of Guru in sadhna. When we see shallow personalities like SPG becoming respected tantra specialist in their known circles then we realize the greatness of our Gurudev who are so humble and simple, although they have knowledge whose depth cant even be imagined by us.
