Guest guest
Jai Gurudev Pujya Shankaracharyaji's Gurudev is/was a shisya of His Holiness Pujyapaad DadaGurudev Swami Sachidanandji. I do not remember name of third Shishya (disciple) Vikramji, are you a shisya of Pujya Gurudev. Have you taken Diksha? If yes, then, you should take Pujya DadaGurudev's name with respect. Your question regarding exam is a bit naive. This is not a academic classroom wherein one takes an annula or a periodic exam. The concept of exam/test here is continuous. One gets tested every moment. For instance, a disciple may get a feeling to perform 21 rounds of Guru Mantra on a particular day. After a few moments, someone (family member/neighbour) may give some other work to disciple to do within same timeframe. This itself is a test to ascertain if the disciple feels Guru Mantra jap to be more important than any other physical-mundane work. Or a disciple may have decided to do Guru Sewa by distributing pamphlets on a particular day. However, as soon as he starts from house, it may start raining, and then the test is to ascertain if disciple is brave enough to weather the rain to accomplish his task. Or a disciple may have started a multiple day Sadhana/anusthaan, and his work-boss may ask him to go on a tour within that timeframe. Or he may get a craving to eat meat or fish during the Sadhana period. The above two are very basic examples. Pujya SadGuru constantly keeps testing the disciples, at every moment. One is constantly under His gaze. And, one keeps getting opposition in various forms (family circumstances, work pressure, illness, environment etc.) as soon as one starts thinking of starting a Sadhana, or doing some Guru Sewa. These "oppositions" are meant to test the resolve of Sadhak. The "oppositions" are also manifestations of past sins and karmas of Sadhak. These past sins appear as a opposing family member, or work pressure, or illness, or something else. One has to have a very strong resolution, if one wants to tread this path. Tranversing on this path is similar to walking on a sword, wherein one has to constantly give highest priority to Sadhana/Gurusewa, over everything else- children, family, job etc. Even Jesus Christ said -Oh God, please do not put me on more tests. In fact, in this age, it is very difficult for Pujya Gurudev to test a disciple. In the olden days, disciples used to live in Ashrams, and could not go out. These days, a disciple may simply bend under the pressure, and decide to opt out and leave Gurudev & Sadhanas. Some of such people, who are unable to cope with the tests, then start to defame pujya Gurudev and Sadhanas, little realizing that they could also have succeeded if they had acted more resolutely and industriously. Anyone can attain success in Sadhanas. If person "A" can, so can "B", and so can you. You only need to follow the process both physically and mentally, with strong resolution. Guest guest
Well, I read book "Amrit Bund", its really very nice book. In same book, guruji has told that he had given some test. I just want to know what was that test. Because I am wondering what could be test taken by great saint sacchidanandji. Also sankaracharya is that one who established 4 mathas & blessed by Shiva? - vikram

Pujaya gurubhai aur bhen What I have heard until now from Gurubhais, as old as 20 years and those who have done sadhnas under the guidance of Bade Gurudev present in physical form, is that the two other desciples of Bhagwan Sachhidanandji are pujya Shree Kirshna and Raja Brihathari. Our beloved SaddGurudev is the third desciple our bhagwatpaad parampujniya brahamswaroop bhagwan sachhidanandji. It is in fact that Lord Krishna has in may places in the Holy Gita spoken about Bhagwan Sachhidanandji too. Guest guest
Om Nikhileshwaraye Namah Om Gam Ganpatye Namah Om Nikhileshwaraye Namah This instance has been published in MTYV to motivate the sadhaks. There it is not mentioned that the disciple in this instance Are our Gurudev Nikhil. This instance has been mentioned in a book also.We will have to search that book again to see if Gurudev's Name has been mentioned there. Looking at the questions and answers, we realise that how the myths are created. We would just look at the how this instance has been presented in MTYV magazine. A Guru asks his disciples to bring water in baskets made of bamboo sticks. All disciples move towards the river and start filling their respective baskets. As the bamboo sticks were not bound airtight, water leaked out of those baskets as soon as they were taken out water. All disciples after trying for some time decided to come back and report their inabilty to fill the water in those buckets. Only one disciple did not come back. He kept on trying to fill his bamboo stick bucket again and again. He was completely sure that if his Guru has given this task then there has to be some reason. Guru does not do any activity without any reason. If Guru has asked to fill this basket then surely it would be possible to fill this bamboo stick basket with water. That disciple kept on trying till evening, by that time the bamboo sticks, of which his basket was made of, absorbed enough water that they became thick enough to plug the air gaps. So after trying for whole day that disciple was to fill up water and bring it before his Guru in the evening. Guru was very pleased and said" I knew that I had given an impossible task, a disciple is one who just turns impossible into possible by sheer hard work, resolve and unwavering faith ." Here it is the underlying message which needs to be inculcated by sadhaks rather than enjoying it as a "story". That the real purpose of publishing such instances every month in MTYV Magazine and also in books. A single instance can not sum up the qualities of our Gurudev which made them the favourite disciple of Swami Sachidananda. Whoever is the disciple in the abovementioned instance, is an icon of the heritage of Guru- Shishya tradition in India which has kept the essence of knowledge and values of our anscetors alive till today. Our Gurudev has done which is unparalled in the whole history of world. Even Swami Sachidanand had said" The circumstances prevailing in the society were not so poisonous even in the times when Jagat Guru Adi Sankra and Guru Gorakhnath appeared on BharatBhoomi to uphold the values and knowledge of country. " Swami Sachidananda knew that Gurudev Nikhil has near impossible task at His hands and He will have to suffer to extent, which can not be put into words. We have used some of the quotes from the Gurudev's books and various descriptions given by sadhaks who were with our Gurudev during Their days as a Sanyasi Sadhak. Gurudev you created History. We just write few mails about that and earn applause of the readers. We know that and still we keep on writing. As such who are we to write anything about You when even Goddess Saraswati could not describe you completely.
