Guest guest
I was thinking on something which could help in maintaining the japa count without interruption. When we try to keep count of the number of rounds, sometimes we tend to give more emphasize onthe number and the concentration tends to hover around the counts rather than the japa. Instead lets try something new like this. First try out how many counts you can do in 5 minutes. Just concentrate on the number of counts only and with the help of a watch. Now you know your speed of recitation. Now multiply by the number of counts you have to make. suppose your speed level for guru mantra is 20 per minute or 100 per 5 minutes, and if you want to 21 malas, i.e, 2268 counts, then you would require exactly 1 hour 55 minutes for completion of the japa. but instead take a safe time of 2 hours or 2 hours 15 minutes. and set a very low alarm in the watch. so that u will know that you can do it uninterrupted without losing any concnetration and fear of losing on count. This in fact helps in getting full success and in due course the mind itself acts as an auto timer. this practise can be tried out. Think about the joy we get in keeping on reciting the japa mantra without any worries of counts. SR.RajkumarSend instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.
