Guest guest
Om Nikhileshwaraye Namah Om Gam Ganpatye Namah Om Nikhileshwaraye Namah Today we will discuss something about the mother of all obstacles in the path of sadhnas called reasoing and logic. It is very important in our day to day life but their is one himan trait which makes it awfully dangerous. Human mind has a tendency of swinging to the extremes. It does not stick to middle path. An action can not go without producing a result. Treading in extreme corners of human psyche has its own price. People confuse courage and determination with the reasoning and logic reaching the extreme levels of dangerous dogmas. Reasoning is like an octopus. By the time you grapple with its one arm, you are in the grip of many more. Just for example take this. A person says " God is omnipresent and omnipotent therefore no need of going to temple or doing any kind of sadhna & Guruchintan." It hardly takes any effort to make comments like this. As soon as child starts learning alphabets he is able to write E=mc2, if you ask him to write. He does not know its meaning, but he will write any alphabet in any combination if you ask him to write. You need to ask any qualified professor of physics to tell you that how many years were taken to practically verify this equation given by Einstien and how much money & man hours were spent on this whole activity. Whoever first said that God is omnipresent and omnipresent must have spent his whole life in search of answers for the questions arising in his mind. It is ultimate stage of sadhna when a person sees God inside himself as well in the world outside. Now you see the difference between just making sweeping statements and actually going through them. We can overcome reasoing by knowledge only. Now what is knowledge? Knowledge is something which is revealed to us as soon as our mind comes out the clutches of reasoning. Therefore it is clear that we need the help of a Guru as a source of our knowledge, because reasoning will not allow knowledge inside us to shine.Slowly and slowly Guru makes us free from the entanglements of reasoning and we are able to see the light which was always present within us but we could not realise. You should not confuse information with knowledge. Just take this example. A person is doing a sadhna. The mantra which he is using for it starts producing results and he goes on to make steady progress in life. Therefore his constant hard work, perseverance, faith in mantra and Guru produces results for him. After seeing this a person comes and asks him the secret of his success. He reveals the mantra to him. The other person thinks how this small mantra could make him so successfull? That mantra is just "information " for the second person while it is knowledge for the first person. We hope you are a little bit able to realise the difference between "Knowledge " and " Information". This explains the reason why people are confused by reading about so many sadhnas in the magazine. It is because they treat it just as "information". A single sadhna in any issue of MTYV magazine can make a person ultimate, is that person sticks to it. Now a readers flips through pages looking at sadhnas one by one. So such a vast treasure of knowledge appears very confsuing to him. Doing those sadhnas may take many weeks and a readers just flips through them in five minutes and keeps the magazine aside. Therefore a person who does not have determination to get first hand experience of these sadhnas will never realise their importance. In the moment of crisis he may sit down with dozens of issues of MTYV with him, but what will he gain? When he could not develop the sense of purpose and discipline for doing one sadhna, how can he expects help from so many MTYV issues in his hands?
