Moving on the path of sadhna, how many times a person's thoughts deviate away

from the Guru? How much time does a sadhak spends on rationalising his thoughts

in congruence with the words of Guru?He may be aware of his trick deep inside

and still ignore the Guru's words or he may be ignorant also just stick to his

deep rooted thoughts.

Anyway how does it matter?

In both ways he is moving towards downfall.

Why should not a disciple thank his Guru for every new revelation of thoughts?

He may feel that he just got words of wisdom from a schoolboy. He may think

that he is sadhak for so many years and how could these words from some

ordinary person can shake up my conscience?

 

One sadhak may think that he reached this particular state of blissfull mind

after taking so many deekshas and here is a fellow who just became a sadhak

only a fewdays back could enjoy the same state?

This is how sadhaks ruin themselves becuase of jealousy.

 

It does not matter that we got something after a very long sadhna and another

person got it so early. A disciple should not devalue the gift from Gurudev.

Otherwise it is dead end.

 

On this lifetime journey of sadhna we will find many things on our way. We may

find people already sitting at places where we are just reaching now. How does

it make any difference? We are there because of our Gurudev and not because of

these strange passerbys.

We should be always thankful to our Gurudev for having reached that place. It is

Guru only who has brought to that place and it is Guru only who will lead us in

the way ahead.
