Guest guest
Chanting HANUMAN CHALISA 11 times daily for 40 days is very effective. Preferrable timing is in the morning. Jai Hanuman."Pai, Umesh" <upai (AT) kpmg (DOT) com> wrote: Dear all >From my own experience I have observed that the chanting of Hanuman Mantra, Chalisa, Raksha Kavacham is very fruitful. This can be chanted by any one irrespective of they being male / female, young and old. Also visiting Sani mandir on Saturday for 41 days is advisable. The cursing of SANI from our end should never be made. This negates all the worship and related activities made to appease the Sani God. Offering black cloth, Til seeds and Mustard Oil etc to SANI and donating to the needy on Saturdays are good solutions. Sani Chalisa can be rendered on Saturdays along with Hanuman Mantra also. Since Hanuman protected the Navagrahas from the demonic hands of Ravana, Sani promised that Hanuman wont’ ever be effected by bad aspects of Sani, and hence SANI has good respect for Hanumanji. There exists no conflict in chanting Hanuman Chalisa and Sani chalisa. Guest guest
1. Have firm faith in Lord Guruvayoorappan, that is Narayana or Sri Krishna or Mahavishnu, or any other Ishtadeivatam if you have and pray to him. No saturn can do any harm. 2. All we think we suffer from is not really suffering, but wearing out the fruits of our own Karma or actions. It is a wrong explanation that the 7-1/2 years under Saturn will continuously do us harm. Such thoughts make things only worse. Remember the verse-- "Ananyaschintayanto mam ye janah paryupasathe. Thesham Nityabhiyuktanam Yogakshemam Vahamyaham", Gita 9/22 meaning, "Whoever, being devoted to me solely, engage themselves always in contemplation and worship of Me--to such ever-steadfast devotees,I ensure the procurement of all their wants (including salvation) and the preservation of their assets (worldly interests.) Here, the accent is on the words "devoted to me solely", "ever steadfast" etc. So it is imperative that one should divert all thoughts to Him, whether one is in the kitchen, drawing room or in the toilet, and there are no constraints in thinking of God. One can always keep thinking of Him. He lives in our hearts. (Hridaya-kamala-vasee) Draupadi, when she was in trouble, when she was being disrobed by Dussasana, thought of Krishna as "Dwaraka-vasee". When He at last came to her rescue, Draupadi asked Him why He was late. He answered that he had to come all the way from Dwaraka. So meditate upon Him as a resident of your heart. He will, I am sure, will come to your rescue when you are in serious trouble. Simultaneously, you can please Sani Bhagavan also by chanting His stotras so that He will help by easing your troubles. After all, Gods are also like human beings; they too have likes and dislikes, favouritisms and prejudices. So by praising Sani, He will keep away from troubling you. When Iwas going through asimilar period, I used to keep chanting the Sani Mantra all the time. It used to happen that every saturday, a limping half-blind old man used to come asking for food, and we used to give him food. On the last saturday of my 7-1/2 saturn period (we found this out later), he came while I was half way through my lunch. And I was the last one to eat and my wife's "Akshaya-patram" would have been empty after that. My wife looked at me. I stopped with whatever I already had and asked my wife to pack up the food left in the vessel and give to the old man. She did so. He took the packet, blessed her and left. And that was the last I saw of that man ! Access the website www.narayaneeyam.com Narayaneeyam is nothing but an epitome of Bhagavatam and the Bhaktaranjini commentary contains everything.
