I am not sure if you all know that Supreme Court of India, has announced that, killing cows, eating meat of cows is completely illegal. Although all states do not implement his law except Rajasthan & Gujarat ??.. 10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic""> 10.0pt;font-family:"Century Gothic"">When I see cows in Bangalore, eating plastic’s carry bags, papers, it’s really a sad, sometimes they are pregnant also. Guest guest
Jai Gurudev! I respect you feeling and I too feel each of us should take one step at least towards this. Here in Ludhiana we have a very good system. There is an organisation called Gao Dhaam from where people early morning go to all parts of the city on bicycles carrying two large bags on each side of the rear tyre. They go door to door and collect food, money and other things for cows. The organisation works towards not leaving any cow on the roads wandering ...feedign them and looking after theem.....curing them...and building respect and love in hearts towards cows. People also donate generously to this organisation and for the last few years things are going on so well. However, I would like to state there we should not offer eaten food to Gai Mata......since you yourself say 33 crore devi devta reside in Gai Mata.....we should daily keep two three rotis for cows ....while preparing food and offer to cows. I would like to quote a true story from where I got this i do tno remember. An old woman never used to offer anything any food to cows...one day in her dream she saw that she died. When her aatma went up....she felt terribly hungry and thirsty and nothing to eat or drink....she became like a mad due to hunger..... After walking miles...she saw a tree with rotis hanging and the branches laden with roti very near to the earth. she tried to catch hold of one of the roti...but just as she was about to get hold of it...it moved a bit up...she tried and tried...for an hour or so and got exhausted but each time the roti would go up a bit. Now she realized what she had done all her life....and repented...and prayed to God if given a chance she would never ever deprive poor or needy of food. As she thougth this, she woke up.......until now .....she first feeds the cows then only eats her daily food.
