Now I know there was an email like an year + back that said that,

yoginis are not the same as of das mahavidhya. Hence Tara Yogini is

different from Tara in das mahavidhya.

Just wanted to confirm again. Can anyone please comment, and let me know if this is true or not.

Thanks and RegardsDp

I think i said something like this to some one earliar . To think in

one easy way - The 10 mahavidya's are 10 vital force - the yogini's

are one channel of communication that carry the force like veins .

Yogini sanchar would mean letting the flow of the right force to the

right channel . The names of yogini's are not universal everywhere.

But as far as i can recall from the long list of names yes - inside

the names of yogini's kali and tara were included mostly from

kalikapuran . I think there is a picture of 64 yogini temple in

Hirapur Orissa in the web , in which you also see the names of

Dhumavati and Chamunda too. Its really confusing . But we can't

help thats the way they were designed .

Some time back people said that they are not the same. But from this it

looks they are. As you have mentioned in front of its name - 2nd

Mahavidya. As if thats the case It would make it easy to find more

details about it.

Thanks once again for compiling all the names in the email and other

details. I have always been a big fan of your knowledge base.. :)

Thanks and Regards
