Regarding Alternative measures in Sadhana.

Jai Gurudev.

In a book from Jodhpur Dham called " Lakshmi Prapti " there

is a sadhana given for sudden money gain called Kamdev Lakshmi Uddiyan

Bandha Prayog. It is given ie after the purascharan of the mantra

write the mantra on a piece or paper and drop it in running water ie

river canal etc. Now where I live there is no such arrangement not

even a pond ,let alone running water. Sirs is there any alternative

for the running water . Like for example if it is given to chant a

mantra beneath a peepal tree then keeping peepal leaves beneath the

asana is enough, and likewise, similarly is there any alternative to

this also. Please, please help me please!!!

There can be a 2nd way of doing it but this is how we do in that worst

case .

Take a big earthenware hemi spherical untensil and on it make tirtha

by pouring water and avahan by chanting -

 

Om gange cha yamunaa chaiva godavari saraswati

narmade sindhu kaveri jalesmin sannidheem kuru ||

 

Chant it touching the water with the back side of your middle finger

108 times .

 

Pray Gurudev -

 

then do what you want to do and drop the water latter on the base of a

wood apple or a banyan tree.
