Guest guest
Dear Anand, Problems come to everyone in life. Remaining introvert and not doing anything is not suggested by Ramana, to my knowledge. You must deal with the situation in the most appropriate manner as you feel. But, remain anchored in the Self, meaning: a. take it as part of your destiny, without blaming anyone, b. finding suitable avenues, like a better job c. acquiring additional skill which will improve your career, and income, d. consider Self as the only subject, basis of existence of all concerned, and their body-mind objects acting asper their programming,or e. a solution most appropriate according to programming of your body-mind object Hope this helps. Many in this group may be living in Western countries where there are oppurtunities galore and very less unemployment. Living the Ramana way means silent introspection and generally living an introverted life. However in India where opportunities are less and it is said that you have got to have lots of contacts to protect yourself from a situation where there is apotential danger of unemployment. What would Ramana advise in such a situation. What would Ramana say if your own wife refuses to accept your parents for their faults and asks for a separate living. However your present job is such that you would like to switch (you hate the present job and more so your boss but the family circumstance (of your wife demanding separate existence ) which on switching would not be financially possible )Also there is no advancement spiritally and there is frustration all round. Members ,How would Ramana advise us in this situation. regards, Anand. Ether is said to be the first creation in one place; vital energy (prana) in another place; something else in yet another; water in still another, and so on. How are these to be reconciled? Do not these impair the credibility of the Vedas? A: Different seers saw different aspects of truth at different times, each emphasising one view. Why do you worry about their conflicting statements? The essential aim of the Vedas is to teach us the nature of the imperishable atman and show us that we are that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BE AS YOU ARE, The Teachings of Ramana Maharshi edited by David Godman ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ______________________ ______________________ Your use of is subject to __________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.amexmail.com/?A=
Guest guest
also, perhaps the idea of "total surrender" might come in handy. to truly surrender is scary, but is supposedly a safe bet. -j Ramesh Daswani wrote: > Dear Anand, > > Problems come to everyone in life.
