Guest guest
>From the group feedback my personal conclusion was to enjoy the natural pleasures(the Gita also certifies to this by saying that if legitimate the supreme is also present as a witness- nay embodies the very act )till such time that it is transcended fully without confusion.Once true realisation sets (maybe after many lives or if this lucky then in this life) then this question would not arise at all as by then it would be insignificant. The fact that this question has arisen indicates that quite some work needs to be done . Thanks for all your responses . It is just that I am presently a bit disturbed and felt that advise from Ramana devotees would be a healing balm and would also show the correct path. I also require your observations in the following. Though we believe in the Ramana way and believe in transcending the body the fact that our life is as it is because spiritually we may just be at the beginning otherwise the almighty would have put us in a more conducive situation .For example in our workplace suppose we are honest(let us assume that this is true) but we may find ourselves in an atmosphere which is ridden with politics(though the resultant of the concerned person's body mind programming ) with the possibility of victimisation(as we see it).We want to quit but we cannot because in the body sense people are dependent are us.We are advised that we should leave our jobs provided only we have another but it is easier said than done because quite often, though we once again continue to be dissatisfied we never manage to gather the courage to opt out.Doesn't spirituality have an answer to this practical problem. How can we guide ourselves to such a position where we temporarily accept the situation but still plan and successfully at a later stage opt out.(All of this knowing well that the incumbent's mind is weak and most of its' life having taking decisions only to go back due to family pressures, our fears etc.) regards, Anand. When I presented my Roshi with a similar question, he told me to pray for those at work who were giving me trouble. He said it always seems to work. And it does, though not in the way we think.
