Dear Vicki,

In the Bhagavad Gita we find:

"He who is freed from the notion of ego, whose

understanding is not tainted,

even after slaying all these people, neither slays nor

is he bound (by the action)."

(Bhagavad Gita, 18; 17)

Om Namo Bhagavate Sri Ramanaya

Bhagavan Sri Ramana has said "answers to questions

directed outwards will only lead to more such

questions." Yet He answered our such questions from

time to time, to wean our minds away from asat (that

which is not Truth) and make it focus on an inward

enquiry.

Sri Miles' very apt quote answer the question firmly.

It is Supreme compassion that makes a Jnani limit

himself to a life in a body in this manifest world.

Whatever he does, is out of this Supreme Compassion.

It is for the Good of the world.

When our minds desire to wander, let it do so in the

Garden of thoughts of Sri Ramana and enjoy their

fragrance.

Namo Ramana
