Guest guest
Dear Reddy, The demons in philosophic literature means the Seven Deadly Sins- lust, greed, anger, jealousy, sloth, covetousness and attachment. If you meditate regularly, your Intuitive Mind opens up. More contact with the Self makes the demons flee away. You get relief from the thraldom held by the demons. Only via Union via Love ( Bhakti Yoga ) & Union via Wisdom ( Jnana Yoga ) can the negative elements in man be destroyed. Constant meditation, constant Self-awareness, constant self-enquiry alone can pave the way for the total destruction of the demons paving the way for Self-Actualisation. Guest guest
Dear Vicki, > And I am bound to consider that analysing, classifing, > .....and so on.. help as long as somebody needs them > and at a certain point preoccupation with all this > could be a terrible waste of time. Yes, indeed. Words and their analysis and classification, or use in analysis and classification, are reflections in Brahman which create the illusion of sequence. This is the start of diversity and difference. Trace back to the source of the word. Go beyond (before) sequence and differentiation, beyond (before) ahamkara (ego), and the Word-Self (Supreme Self) shines eternally, sequencelessly, undifferentiatedly. This is the ultimate end of the elusive and misunderstood practice called SabdapUrvayoga. om SAntih ! SAntih ! SAntih !
