Guest guest
Hello there, My name is Andrew R. Hoople and I live in Centennial, Colorado (USA). I just joined your group a few days ago and I have been enjoying reading your posts. I have been practicing atma- vichara for many years now in the hopes that I might eventually find bliss. I have read that Ramana has said that atma-vichara should be practiced until the feeling of `I', `me', and `mine' disappears. It seems to me that I have succeeded at this; I no longer have any awareness of an `I' within me. And I recall distinctly having experienced this `I' in the past. The `I' is no longer there, but I do not experience bliss. Instead of bliss, I feel a persistent and intense anger which prevents me from experiencing any sustained happiness. Does anyone out there have any suggestions or similar experiences to relate? Yours Truly, Andrew R. Hoople
