Guest guest
I was at a client's office a few weeks ago and noticed on the bookshelf one of many books written for computer users, the "Dummy" Series. This book was, "Microsoft Project for Dummies." I though that is was too bad that such a book was not written on more important subjects, like how one should live one's life. When I got home that day I wrote this poem, which I titled: Living for Dummies -------------------------- All things come and go. Each thing passes. Don't get attached to what's not permanent. If you try to place your identity With things that don't last You are destined to be unhappy. Happiness really comes from within. Your mind relaxes when a desire is met and happiness flows. The happiness comes from within you. Not from any object, Not from any action, Not from any person. Love really comes from within. When your heart opens The love is there. Where do you think love comes from? If you look closely enough you will find Love is really who you are! Inner peace comes from within. When the mind stops its idle chatter You can hear the silence of being. All your concerns and cares are just ideas. When you live as reality instead of ideas, There you find inner peace. There is a place in you where happiness, love, silence and inner peace all come together. That place is in your being. Your being is who you are. Not any thing, not any object. Not any idea, not any experience. But it is Who You Are. Some people live their life Looking for happiness from outside. >From things or people or some situation or experience. Even when they find this happiness it does not last. Look inside for your happiness and you will find That you are that which you seek. Ask yourself, "Who am I?" And you will find Your Self. Find your Self, And you will find The Self of All. I have some other nondual peoms that I have written, some of which were posted at the very start of this group. If others are interested, I will make further postings.
