Guest guest
I'm new to the list, so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not but the movie "The legend of Bagger Vance" is apparently based on the Bhagavad Gita. I enjoyed it the first time I saw it, but I read this in a bookstore I watched it again, and sure enough if you read between the lines it IS. In the same sense that "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" was based on The Oddysey, only set in the depression era south this is certainly the Gita in a different setting. Bagger Vance (Bhagavan) teaches Junna (Arjuna) about the game you don't win, you simply play... about the field of play... It's all there, veiled.
