'Considering the world as the the eight fold manifestation of the Lord and worshipping Him is (true)worship.' (the tamil word eNNuru permits another meaning. - 'Considering all forms conceived by the mind as manifestation of the Lord and worshipping Him is true worship.') ========= 6a) uttamastavAduccamandatah / cittajaMjapadhyAnamuttamam // 'Meditation on japa born of mind is better than the best hymns of praise whether chanted loudly or softly.' 6b) vazhuttalil vAkkucca vAykkuT jebattil vizhuppamA mAnada mun*dIpar^a viLambun* diyAnami dun*dIpar^a 'Chanting the name (Japa) of the Lord is better than singing His praise.
