Guest guest
Dear Vicki, I enjoyed reading this beautiful message so much. How wonderful. You sound much more relaxed and happier than before you left. You described this so well, I felt it too, the silence and the dark and the immensity, the tree against the desert -- it must have had hard shimmering edges in the heat, against the deep blueness of the sky -- and the mysterious absent moon. A moonless mouna! And your son noticed too, how wonderful! Welcome home! I hope the silence and beauty stay with you until your next vacation! Guest guest
Dear Vicki, I'm glad the desert reached out to you again today. Maybe it's not a surprise. This desert of yours is a famous holy place like Arunachala. Which one did you go to? The one where Jesus talked to Satan, or the one where God appeared to Moses? Guest guest
Dear Vicki, I just looked it up, I didn't know. The Bible doesn't say but according to tradition, Jesus spent his 40 days in the desert somewhere between Jericho and the Judean Mountains. I guess that's not where you went either. Where did you go?
