Guest guest
Sri Ramanasramam prints a logo on the title page of all its books. It consists of an Om inside a halo of radiating lines, and below that, a banner with the words (if I've correctly puzzled out the Sanskrit) "OM NAMO BHAGAVATE SRI RAMANAYA." (Notice the sneaky avoidance of the raised letter issue.) I'll try to insert and attach the logo, but I'm not sure allows images to go through. A bunch of questions about this logo: who designed it and when? Do the radiating lines mean anything in particular or they just a design? What's the best English translation of the text? Thanks a lot.
Guest guest
P.S. didn't like the illustration so I put it on the web here, in case anybody wants to look: http://www.realization.org/page/temp/sri_ramanasramam_logo.htm I made a mistake about the banner text. It starts with "namo," not "om." - "Rob Sacks" <editor <RamanaMaharshi> Sunday, October 28, 2001 12:04 AM [RamanaMaharshi] Sri Ramanasramam logo > Sri Ramanasramam prints a logo > on the title page of all its books....
