Guest guest
By the grace of Sri Ramana, i've proposed to post some of the memorable incidents Reminiscences of Shri Kunju Swamigal, one of the foremost devotees of the Maharishi in the upcoming months. Iam sure all the members of this group will be graced by the look of Sri Bhagvan and benifit from these 'experiences'. Regards, always in service of Sri Bhagvan, Sriram Sri Bhagvan was sitting alone.I thought it was a great opportunity for me to talk to Him freely. I told Him about my interest in giving religious discources, doing japa, and studying Vedanta. I told Him that i had not been getting any peace, but the moment i heard about Him,i was filled with peace.I also told Sri Bhagvan in Malayalam about how the Swamiji who had taught me Vedanta tried to attain samadhi.Sri Bhagvan listened to everything with a smile.I asked Him what i should do to get mental peace.Sri Bhagvan replied,"You have read Kaivalyam. It is clearly stated that if you realise yourself, you will be freed from the cycle of birth and death and be freed from all trouble." When i asked Him how to realise the Self,He said I should first know who iam, He said,"Find out where thoughts start from." When asked how i should do it,He said,"Turn inward and merge the mind in the heart." After saying this, He fell into His natural silence.Thinking I should also be like Him,i sat in silence.Sri Bhagvan's gracious looks were on me.My mental agitation vanished that very moment and i attained a peace and joy that i had not experienced earlier. in Sri Bhagvan, Sriram
Guest guest
Dear Sriram, thank you for your postings of Kunju Swami's reminiscences, who lived for 30 years with Bhagavan. Reading them is a great pleasure. In Sri Ramana Gabriele
