In the case of the jnani(Enlightened), the rise

or exsistence of the ego is only apparent and the

jnani enjoys his transcendental experience in spite

of such apparent rise or exsistence of the ego,

keeping his attention always on the source. This ego

is harmless; it is like the skeleton of a burnt

rope--though it has form it is of no use for tying

anything.
