Guest guest
Dear Friends I am extremely new to this path of Self Enquiry. My only introduction is Biography of Sri Ramana by Osborne and a 2 Krishnamurti books . Please forgive me for asking these questions here but i wanted some guidance regarding a issue . Sri Ramana has said to cut a thought as soon as it arises , Krishnamurti talks of just observing . Both are eventually talking of a quiet Mind. Is their approach different from another . Can a seeker on this path integrate the methods of Great masters as Sri ramana , Krishnaji, Nisargadatta maharaj etc .. or is a single approach necessary , that is meditation practised as per dictum of one master only ? The Krishnamurti method seems very similar to awareness method of buddhists , while Guru ramana method seems to require concentration rather than awareness. I would be very grateful if some one can advice me regarding ths issue . If discussion cannot take place here , then please email me at pinkie_brown2001 Also I wanted advice as to which books should beginner start with , to understand the Ramana method more clearly Thank you OM TAT SAT pinkie
