Guest guest
Devaraja Mudaliar, the author of "Day by Day with Bhagavan", often complained to Bhagavan. Once he recited three stanzas of Siva Prakasam Pillai. The last one runs as follows: "If you continue thus, leaving poor me to go my ways, how am I to be saved? Weakling that I am, I will not correct myself, and you, my Lord and Master will not correct me. Have I any help except you in this life or the next? What exactly is your pleasure and what do you intend to do with me? Is this right of you, my Guru?" Bhagavan kept quiet for one or two minutes after Devaraja Mudaliar had finished his earnest prayer and then said: "Whether I do or don't do anything, you have simply to surrender and keep quiet."
