Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagavate Sri Ramanaya Namaste, This is Leaf, I just got a new screen name though. Anyway, the sharings, let me say they have really helped me a lot, just almost as much as the quotes, because a lot of the questions other people ask are some of my questions too, and some of their experience hlp me know what I'm suppose to do next. Just commenting...and I have absolutely not a clue why there is so much disapproval, there is already mostly quotes and not that much sharing. Okay that is all from me, and I'll be signing my name as Prem instead of Leaf, ,a slight change. Namaste Namo Ramana bless'd be too many partings... Is Advaita an inhuman path in the sense that anything outside of a direct quote from Ramana is somehow threatening? Although I am relatively new to Ramana as my guru I have not seen anything in the written works that would indicate this as desirable. Ramana strips away illusion better than any teacher I'm aware of, but I haven't encountered any indication that one should only parrot what he said, or live in some kind of vacuum. Yes, he made it VERY clear that none of this is real, only the self remains.... but his last comment in "Talks" was to be like an actor in a drama free from love or hatred. I just don't see where there's any need to reject our humanity (outside of recognizing its limitations as not anything final or real.) I for one enjoy the personal levels expressed here as well as the quotes. Poly
