God in the Heart

Dear All,

I will not be here for some days having to go on a business trip. I hope the

discussion will find a good end meanwhile. The controversion was not a pleasant

thing and left me extremely exhausted - others perhaps also. But looking back I

see it has also clarified something.

Bhagavan: God is said to reside in the Heart in the same way as you are said to

reside in your body. Yet Heart is not a place. Some place must be named as the

dwelling of God for those who take their bodies for themselves and who

comprehend only relative knowledge. The fadt is neither God nor we occupy any

space. We are bodiless and spaceless in deep sleep, yet in the waking state we

appear to be the opposite. Atman or Paramatman is that from which the body is

born, in which it lives and into which it finally resolves.

Dear Vicki,

having the short opportunity of using the internet for a short reply.

I am glad to see you back so soon.

But there is no need to make arrangements of any kind. I will be here

when needed and when the heart tells me. Who does the posting of the

Ramana-quotes and -stories; you, I or someone else, doesn't matter at

all. The one who speaks is Ramana himself. So please continue

further. You do it excellently. I will join in from time to time.

As about postings of the other kind - they happen spontaneously and

according to the situation - so there is nothing which could be

arranged.
