Guest guest
Sri Vicki: The Holy Geeta with commentary by Swami Chinmayananda is excellent. Swami Cinmayananda's firm grounding in the path of knowledge and his connection to Sri Ramana Maharshi can be seen in this translation of and commentary on the Bhagavad Gita. This is by far my favorite translation of the Bhagavad Gita. The book is published by Chinmaya Mission Trust Sandeepany Sadhanalaya, Saki Vihar Road, Mumbai 400 072 India. I do not know if any of these online bookstores carry it or not: http://home.talkcity.com/GaiaWay/infinite_freedom/BOOKSTORES_8.htm Take care, with Love, Sri Arunachala -- In RamanaMaharshi, "viorica weissman" <viorica@z...> wrote: > Dear Members, > > as Gabriel raised the subject of invitations, > it crossed my mind to renew my invitation too > to join > > > > MillionPaths/ [ open list ] > > or > > NamoRamana/ ] [ silent non- discussion list ] > > > postings from : Ramana Maharshi , life, teachings, devotee's reminiscenses; > Upanishads and other old Hindu scriptures > Nisargadatta > ..................... > > I would like to post also on a permanent base from Bhagavad Gita , only that > I need some help here - the only Bhagavad Gita I read was that in Swami Prabhavananda > and Christopher Isherwood's translation and I posted from it already in the past > If someone could recommend a very good translation, I would be very grateful > as I intend to buy it , read it and post from it regularly.
