Thank you for that email (below).

 

I want to share some of my experience with you and see

what you think.

 

THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR EXPERIENCES.

 

After reading "Talks with Ramana Maharshi"(actually

during it) i had the experience of the Self for three

days -- it was actually a slow, gradual feeling for

quite a while prior to that feeling (it hasnt left me,

well, some of that feeling has). Well, now i am

re-reading "Talks" and it is now a deeper experience.

 

YOU APPEAR TO BE ONE OF THE GIFTED ONES. I AM NOT AND WILL HAVE TO

WORK 10 HOURS PER DAY FOR 10 YEARS TO REALIZE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE IN A FEW

MOMENTS. NOW THERE WILL BE LOTS OF SOULS HERE THAT WILL SAY THAT MY LIMITING

MODELS ARE PREVENTING REALIZATION. THAT MAY BE TRUE, BUT I WILL NOT ACCEPT

REALIZATION OF THE SELF UNLESS I WORK FOR IT. IF RAMANA OR GOD OFFERED IT TO ME

RIGHT NOW I WOULD REFUSE IT POINT BLANK.

 

I do see, however, other dialogues and writings

regarding him ( i have Arthur Osborne's "Ramana

Maharshi and the Path of Self-knowledge" and "The

Teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi" bye David Godman) --

however, i havent read these books -- maybe dabbled a

little.....reading Talks and that direct experience is

hard to put down for those other books.

 

However, i was struck by that quote that is probably

your favorite and wondered where you got it....and,

what you think i would like per my little note that i

have now written you.

 

I HAVE TYPED IN NISARGADATTA'S CONCSIOUNNESS AND THE ABSOLUTE AND ONLY HAVE A

FEW MORE DIALOGUES TO GO. THE COMING ONE, WHICH I PLAN ON TYPING IN AFTER I GO

TO THE OPEN MARKET FOR SOME VEGETABLE, WILL SHORTLY APPEAR.

 

I LOVE WHEN PEOPLE SHARE THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS AND THAT IS WHY I LIKE NISARGADATTA

SO MUCH. IT'S BECAUSE HIS HAS SHARED IN MORE DETAIL HIS REALIZATION.
