Guest guest
Dear Gabriele and Viorica, Being a silent member here for a long time, I am always grateful to your generous sharing of the teachings of Ramana and other gurus and also enjoy very much the sharings of the other list members. Living in China I never have the chance to read a whole book of Ramana (except those 4 we can download on the internet site) or about Ramana(I think he is very little known there because I have never seen any book or article introducing him and his teachings). It's by His Grace that I came across the Ramana website and I was captured instantly by his regards. When I see into his loving eyes my eyes got wet, I read everything I can find on the net about him and many times I can not help crying like a baby especially when I read the reminiscences of his disciples, I am so deeply touched although I don't know exactly what is touching me, simply I am touched. Indeed we are all blessed to be here. As Ramana has remarked often: nothing happens by chance, so I value very much our meeting here. Personally I don't see or feel anything hurting or offensive in the message of Gabriele, and even if there is really something hurting, as devotees of Ramana, should we just ask ourself "What is hurting and who is hurted?" It's all about the ego and we should just let it go, no need to ask for apology or to apologize. Every time when we feel hurted, it's a chance to remind us of our "big ego"s and we should look into "who is there to be hurted", I think in this way there will be no longer any conflict on the list? I whole-heartedly hope that both of you (all of us) will not be affected by this little event and that you will keep on giving your generous sharings. I just want to say I appreciate very much what you have done on the list and to express my deep gratitude and I hope you will continue to do so. "The Great Way is not difficult for those who have no preferences. When love and hate are both absent Make the smallest distinction, however, and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart. If you wish to see the truth then hold no opinions for or against anything. To set up what you like against what you dislike is the disease of the mind. When the deep meaning of things is not understood the mind's essential peace is disturbed to no avail." from Hsin Hsin Ming by Seng-Ts'an (The third Patriarch of Zen) http://www.selfdiscoveryportal.com/cmSengTsan.htm Love to all, Shengping PS: I asked for my friend studying is USA to buy me the two books "Day by Day with Ramana" and "The Gospel of Ramakrishna", he sent these books more than 6 months ago but I never receive it, perhaps it's also something by His Will?
