Even though there are an awful lot of souls on the net that claim "Realization",

I agree with the above statements.

So, not only do I think "realization is not feasible for me this lifetime, but I

am not even working for it.

Then you ask why do I read Nisargadatta and Ramana and do meditation practice?

Answer: Because the process works and not the goal seeking.

I feel more and more love and interconnectedness with all beings.

I have more concentration ability and it keeps improving.

It feels peaceful to meditate even though I still have too many thoughts per

second.

I am more detached from heavy duty thoughts that appear out of no-where.

I can hold my center and not react as much as in previous years.

Being able to sit for long periods of time gives one patience.

By understanding my mind I have more tolerance for offensive people, because my

own mind is an offense to me.

With increased meditation time I have a nice feeling of alive power in my mind.

For the same reason I do Iyengar yoga.. It feel good. and works for me,

The above is just a reflection on my psyche at this time and if anyone says to

ask, "who is it that", I will, but it wont work, so I will then ask "who is it

that says it wont work".

Aloha,

Alton

Alton:

Playing devil's advocate here, all of your answers about practices refer to

"I" and most of them begin with the same word. Who is the "I" you are

referring to that benefits from all these practices?

Possibly it is a corrupted cosmic false identity that all but a

handful are stuck with, until for some unknown reason "ripeness"

occurs; this "I" that I am referring to must experience pain and

pleasure. This "I" is learning from "teachings" to act in more

skillful manners and therefore can enjoy the temporal plains?

How about you anwering your own question?

I realize that those "true believers" might get upset by what I

posted. So then they get to have their attachments uncovered.

TIA.

Alton
